We need marshalls to be based at various locations to support the efficient running of the vaccination pods.

As a Vaccination Marshall Volunteeryou may be asked to:
  • ·Greet attendees visiting the vaccination hub
  • ·Signpost and guide attendees to and through the hub
  • ·Inform attendees about COVID safety measures in place
  • ·Hand out information as required
  • ·Provide support to staff working at the hubs
  • ·Carry out general admin tasks as required
  • ·Provide extra support to attendees who may be anxious
  • ·Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • ·Keep good time keeping and show regular commitment

As a Vaccination Marshall Volunteer you will not be asked to:
  • ·Provide medical assistance or advice to patients
  • ·Give personal care, such as assisting patients to use the toilet

·Move patients in wheelchairs unless you have already received training via the Voluntary Services Team
  • ·Deal with threatening behaviours, complaints and/or incidents. All incidents to be directed to a member of staff.
  • ·Move and handle items or transport items without appropriate training/information.
  • ·Chaperone patients
