This is an exciting opportunity for a person with passion, experience and knowledge in the area of treatment and service development for older people with organic and functional mental health problems.

Recruitment to this post at this time is seen as a pivotal component of the pandemic mental health recovery response in the Banes, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) system, and going forward is expected to continue to shape this important care pathway in line with the aspirations of the NHS Long Term Plan across all services and partners.

We are seeking an experienced clinician with a passion and commitment for working in this specialist area and with this vulnerable group of our population.

You must have the experience and ability to influence strategically and lead clinically, supporting a range of colleagues in a variety of organisations and settings to providing high quality clinical care and evidence-based interventions.

As well as utilising your own specialist skills to work clinically in this role, and advising the practice of others, you must also have experience in delivering of training to a range of different types of staff. You will hold a senior clinical leadership role within the BSW division but also within the Trust and will be expected to support improvements and developments in care pathways and services.
