An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Covid Response Service (CRS) as a Clinical Assurance Team Leader. This role is essential in ensuring that the Service adheres to the clinical governance audit requirements by ensuring that necessary quality standard audits are carried out in accordance with agreed Key Performance Indicators relevant to Covid Response Service.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of a team of non-clinical auditors and ensuring they are meeting service and quality requirements regarding audit. The role will combine all the elements of line management, audit, feedback advice to non-clinical auditors and CRS staff in relation to call handling processes working with the Contract Performance Managers s to ensure provision of initial and remedial coaching and support as required. You will contribute to investigations through completion of call audits and support the Clinical Governance Team through your detailed service knowledge

Your knowledge and experience will be vital in ensuring ongoing support of the non-clinical auditors and will foster good working relationships with colleagues.

As Clinical Assurance Team Leader you will be managing the team of non-clinical auditors working remotely, you will need to develop the team and ensure auditors engage and work as a team L to ensure that the service adheres to the quality standards for Covid Response Service.

You will assist the Quality Assurance Director and Clinical Governance Lead in the promotion and dissemination of information related to audit, as well as providing analysis of information as required - e.g. call handling audit, standards achieved etc.

You will act as a positive role model to all staff within CRS

Initially this role is offered as a Fixed Term until 31 March 2021. Any extension will be dependant on business need
