What will the apprentice be doing?
Bakkavor is the worlds leading fresh food manufacturer and people are the most important part of our business and the safety of our people is our number one priority.
What will the apprentice be doing?
You will have a real job from day one and make a genuine contribution to the businesses delivery alongside the opportunity to further your education by gaining a Level 3 Safety, Health & Environmental apprenticeship standard.
You will work to help prevent workplace accidents and injuries, as well as recognising and mitigating risks to protect our employees.
You'll work with all areas of the business to support the embedment of our Safety, Health & Environmental values and procedures, so good communication skills are essential.
Typical tasks include: Supporting accident investigations & factory audits, Contributing to improvement plans, Attending operational meetings, Producing reports

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The expected career progression at the end of this apprenticeship is for the apprentice to become a Health & Safety Advisor.
