What will the apprentice be doing?

The role of the Procurement Policy Support Officer is to work with the Procurement Policy Support Manager to review, refresh and develop procurement policies, tools and guidance. You will have the opportunity to be innovative and you will be supporting professional procurement colleagues to maintain the highest standards whilst driving out inefficiencies and maximising value for money. What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

DHSC will offer to support you through a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Commercial Procurement and Supply. The apprenticeship involves a blended approach to learning, with a combination of facilitated learning in workshops, digital delivery and one-to-one coaching support. You will need to take responsibility for completing coursework on time, maintaining up to date evidence for your assessments and put into practice what you're learning by continuing to do your day job.
