What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be studying for an Association of Accounting Technician, Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting and involved in:
• Balance sheet monitoring
• Transaction reporting
• Creating Purchase orders
• Forecasting and budgeting (production, distribution and maintenance of forecast and budget tools)
• Assisting with the provision of year to date, full year and prior month commentary for use in the monthly finance returns and management reports
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Apprenticeship training will be delivered using a blend of online learning and remotely delivered workshops. You will also learn 'on the job' and put into practice the skills and knowledge you are gaining, so that these can be assessed as you progress through your apprenticeship.
At the end of the apprenticeship you will gain an AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
We cannot guarantee you a permanent position at the end of the contract but previous apprentices have consistently secured permanent roles and have subsequently progressed to higher grades and full professional qualification.

Things to consider
Although you will be based at one of the locations listed in the advert, we are all working remotely at the moment due to the pandemic, and the majority of our interaction is via MS Teams. It is therefore important that you are self-motivated and disciplined and able to work with remote supervision in the initial period of your employment.
