''A great place to be cared for; a great place to work''

Are you a registered nurse that wants to be part of a new innovation in the Medicine care group? Are you new to the trust and not quite sure what areas to work in? Are you looking for a change of scene to develop new skills? Then this post is for you!

The Medicine care group is excited to be able to offer one post at band 5 that will be in the form of a bespoke 2 year rotational post, with four 6 month placements tailored to your individual developmental requirements.

The successful applicants will be able to plan their placements with the support of the senior nursing team and also gain exposure, via spoke placements, to many other different elements of the Medicine care group with the many teams involved; these may include the service managers/matrons/Clinical nurse specialists and in-patient and out patient areas.

The successful candidate will begin their journey with us on ward 3 in Medical unit one, and it will be there that the senior nursing team will plan with you your bespoke rotational post.

The Medicine care group is committed to appraisal and to support education and professional development.

You should have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working within a close knit multidisciplinary team.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
