Are you a passionate and forwarding thinking District Nurse or experienced Community Nurse who is currently undertaking your Specialist Practice Qualification in District Nursing ? If so, the exciting, diverse and forward thinking District Nursing services of Bridgend Integrated Clusters are the place for you to work. As a Health Board and ILG we are passionate about continued professional and service development and take a pro active role in progression planning of our staff.

Supported by the District Nursing interim principles, we are looking to enhance our service provisions, by offering applicants the opportunity to apply for a newly created Band 6 Caseload Holder position in the West of Bridgend. The successful candidate should have excellent leadership and clinical skills, with the autonomy to make decisions in a concise and timely manner. The Band 6 caseload holder would be expected to successful support the Band 7 Team Leader, in the day to day running of a caseload, providing assurances of quality and safety for the patients they care for and team they lead. An integrated approach to working is essential.

Ideally located within the Community Integrated Hub at Pyle Life Centre, the integrated MDT in the West of Bridgend, are perfectly positioned to be part of the wider community. Our integrated services provide individualised and person focused community based care for a population of over 36, 500 individuals, covering an area which has coastal, urban and rural landscape.

Pyle Life Centre is perfectly situated just five minutes off conjunction 37 of the M4 corridor, with approximately 20-25 minute commutes from Swansea and Cardiff. This post is open to both internal and external Health Board employees.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
