An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cancer division as an experienced Clinical Support Worker within the Lister Macmillan Cancer Centre in Stevenage.

The Lister Macmillan Cancer Centre is a new, purpose built day unit treating patients with chemotherapy and supportive therapies and outpatients.

The post holder will assist the Registered Nurses in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. They will work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Excellent communication skills are required as the post holder will deal with both patients and relatives queries over the telephone and face to face on a daily basis.

Being a modern unit we rely on dynamic staff to give our patients an excellent experience whilst here.

Applicants need to have completed an Apprenticeship Level 2 in Health or NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, applicants should also be prepared to undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship if they do not already have one.
