Business Support Apprentice - Therapies

Are you keen to be part of our neuroscience Therapies and Rehab team whilst being supported to complete an apprenticeship qualification? We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and well organised individual to support our services who is keen to develop their skills and experience within a small and well-supported admin team.

The Administration Assistant will work as part of an administrative team, to support the multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams to provide a high quality administration service, a positive patient experience and the highest levels of customer service. You will work alongside clinical staff encompassing Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Consultant doctors, nurse specialists, psychologists ,Support Worker and Head of Therapy and providing administrative and secretarial support to these services. You will need to work well within teams and be able to manage your time effectively.

The successful applicant will undertake a Business Administrator level 3 apprentice and will need to show evidence of maths and English; grades A to C or equivalent. The successful applicant will also have excellent communication skills, being able to manage phone calls with patients with a wide variety of communication needs.

Please note that if you are at present in a training position on the 2016 new junior doctor's contract and are applying for a Trust doctor role your salary will not be pay protected.

You will be placed on the appropriate point of the Trust Doctor pay scale based on your previous experience.
