Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated on the Fylde Coast just a 45 minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary services in haematology, cystic fibrosis, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery. The post holder will be an integral member of a team of informatics specialists within Information Management and play a role in development of software applications and integration.

The role includes assisting the implementation, design, technical specification and delivery of bespoke applications, working closely with project management team and supporting colleagues inside and outside of the IM&T environment.. In addition the role includes supporting development, design and implementations of interoperability solutions.

We are looking for applicants who have knowledge around software design using c#, asp.net, Angular2+, HTML 5 and JavaScript. Knowledge on integration using technology such as Ensemble, knowledge of CMS systems such as SharePoint and WordPress and also database skills in TSQL

The starting salary will be at 70% of maximum band 4 whilst undertaking a qualification & training. On completion of your qualification then you will be paid at a band 4..

As part of the Apprenticeship you will be expected to undertake a Level 4 Software Development Apprenticeship.

Candidates working towards a level 3 software development apprenticeship may also be considered.
