Once you have completed your apprenticeship, as a Business Systems Developer, you will be responsible, for the introduction, support, and maintenance of technology solutions that support business processes.

- Provide support to the business by maintaining and developing applications/solutions that allow users to work more efficiently and improve communications
- Work with users to develop solutions for day-to-day issues with business systems
- Influence decisions made by the business when implementing new software solutions
- Develop applications using Microsoft 365 and related software to improve business efficiency
- Provide user support in the use of business system software, including Microsoft 365
- Maintain existing legacy applications on other platforms, and where appropriate migrate to the Microsoft 365 environment
- Assist the IT group with the installation, configuration, and upgrade of business software on clients, (Mac, PC, mobile), and on servers in both real and virtual environments

- Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification relevant to the degree: a BTEC or Diploma or A level in IT or similar
