Practice Educator Band 2-4 Development

Nurse Education - Corporate Nursing

We are now seeking one Band 7 nurse to join our friendly and professional team to act as practice educator for the development of our bands 2-4 workforce under the supervision of the Lead Nurse for Education.

The Practice Educator will be responsible for the delivery of the Bands 2-4 pathway for clinical support workers, ensuring student nurses have a positive learning experience and support with nursing apprenticeships

The Nurse Education Team delivers education training and support to our undergraduate nursing students, post graduate nurses and Bands 2-4 clinical support workers. The Practice Educator will design deliver and evaluate various courses for our support workforce in partnership with our training providers. The post holder will be involved in supporting the apprenticeship process. The Practice Educator will also be involved in the delivery of the OSCE programme for overseas nurses for the Trust and support the Nurse Education team where appropriate.
