An exciting new role has arisen within the Operations Service Centre, a department who has a strong focus and desire for continuous learning and improvement at all levels of the trust.

This is a real opportunity to enhance the education and audit requirements for the Operations Centre, making a difference in how we embed transformational change and provide continuous on the job learning.

We are looking to attract a flexible, organised and improvement focussed individual to support the teams based at Beech House in Lincoln.

The role holders will demonstrate strong organisational skills and be responsible for the delivery of first class training and education support to the Ops Centre team and new starters. Enabling staff to have the right skills and knowledge, to provide outstanding patient care is at the core of this role.

Reporting to the Operations Service Centre Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the staff within, have the necessary tools to deliver a proactive and outstanding service across the organisation. This role is also responsible for the newly designed apprenticeship scheme within the Centre together with audit requirements, for new and existing staff.

Other key elements of this role include; supporting the completion of the Centre Skills Matrix, Audit process and the policies and procedures relating to "on the job" tasks for the Centre.

You must hold a relevant degree or the ability to demonstrate relevant work experience, in addition to evidence of relevant and continuing professional development (CPD).

NHS experience and evidence of working in a training and mentoring role is desirable, as is the ability to work at high levels with managerial colleagues.

Due to the nature of the service and the type of information to be managed, you will need to be able to exercise a high degree of accuracy, sensitivity and confidentiality.
