TeamNNUH is seeking Associate Practitioner Healthcare Scientists to join our temporary staffing team and help deliver this mission statement.

Enthusiastic individuals with a science background required to start with the virology department of NNUH, processing covid-19 samples and other virology samples. Individuals will be required to the ability to work on their own, with supervision nearby, and to operate complex pieces of scientific equipment. Must be able to operate in a methodical way and input data accurately into the laboratory computer system when required.

Training will be given in all aspects of the job.

Individuals will be required to prepare and process biological specimens such as blood, urine, faeces, tissues and other body fluids in accordance with agreed protocols and standard operational procedures. Appropriate precautions will be taken in handling these specimens.

Tier 2 Sponsorship - (not apprenticeships): We are pleased to consider applicants who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK but it is unlikely that we would be able to appoint if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available.

UK Registration: You will need to have current UK professional registration where this is a requirement of the role.
