Grade/Salary: Band 7/8a (or preceptorship band 7)

Location: remote - flexibility to travel across Essex / Hertfordshire

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. 3.0wte available. Part time working will be considered.

Regular working hours.

Contract: Fixed Term for 1 year

You are invited to join an innovative partnership between EPUT and HPFT to deliver staff support services to all health, social care and third sector organisations across Essex and Hertfordshire. Working collaboratively, you will be part of a wide team, consisting of Consultant, Principal and qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologists as well as High Intensity workers, a Project Manager and Administrator. This project won the support and validation from the regional and national NHSEI teams looking at staff support during the COVID-19 pandemic due to its collaborative working at all levels, enterprise and creativity. It has gained the support of three Integrated Care Systems in the area as well as from all acute hospitals in the region. The project aims to both in-reach and outreach to staff working in all three sectors and support cultural shifts in psychological mindedness amongst partner organisations. This new initiative aims to create a pathway for all health, social care and third sector colleagues and to provide them with rapid access to evidence based psychological support.

This is a joint recruitment process between the two Trusts and applicants are required to indicate their preferred choice of employer on the application form.

You will be hosted by either EPUT or HPFT and will work in liaison with your colleagues in the staff support service, thereby creating a wide Essex and Hertfordshire based resource. Whilst the new wellbeing hub will be based within these areas, it is anticipated that there will need to be a commitment to remote working and delivery of service.

EPUT and HPFT are looking to recruit 3 WTE Clinical/Counselling Psychologists or High Intensity Therapists with significant experience in leadership and organisation on a fixed term 12 month contract to enhance employee health and wellbeing, improve employees' experience at work and support the delivery of high-quality compassionate care to our staff community. The post involves integrating with partner organisations to offer reflective practice and thereby deliver appropriate interventions on the basis of outcome, including CPD, individual and group treatments.

It is intended that the successful applicants will form close working relationships and collaborate with colleagues involved in this project across a number of ICSs. The successful applicants will benefit from supportive established staff networks (including BAME, LGBTQ, Faith, Carers, Disability and Mental Health) and further CPD opportunities within their host organisation.
