This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family based Packaging company as an Apprentice in their busy Commercial Department.
Main Overview of the Role
Supporting the Senior Estimators, one of which will be on part-time hours at home after maternity leave. This may mean attending meetings and taking notes on their behalf and having daily catch-up calls with them. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, prioritise your workload and work to dealines.
Provide general administration for the estimating, purchasing and internal sales team for which training will be provided in all areas.
Collating information from enquiries, tender and discussing the project with other departments.
Using Shuttleworth software daily with a long term plan to progress onto other software programmes such as 'Artios CAD' and 'Abaca'.
Keeping a stock check on our stationery and catering items and purchasing replenishment orders with our supplier.
You may also be required to work in other areas of the business, depending on the Commercial Department's workload, ie raising sales orders in the system for the sales team or 'soak testing' samples for the design team.
