Through a series of rotational placements, the apprentice will have the opportunity to work within all key areas of the Eastbourne Product Company. They will have the opportunity to experience the full end to end process which includes building and testing product as well as the opportunity to test new product designs.

Training will be a combination of taught and on the job. Through the delivery of workshops, interactive seminars and practical lab-based activity you will develop your specific knowledge, practical skills and the techniques required of a confident, capable engineering professional.

On completion of this apprenticeship, combined with working within different teams across Eastbourne Product Company we will expect you to have developed basic skills in the following:
  • Able to perform tests under direction from engineers

  • Understanding of how the Eastbourne factory operates
  • Able to build product following correct process
  • Able to test and fault find on product in final test

Desired qualifications

BTEC Level 3 or Level 4 in an Electrical / Electronic Engineering discipline or equivalent or 3 A levels at Grade C+ (to include maths, English and 1 other STEM subject).
