Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

In its most recent inspection, the Care Quality Commission gave the Trust an overall rating of Good.

An opportunity has arisen for Band 5 staff nurse, the successful applicant must be motivated innovative and enthusiastic with good communication skills. Experience with Infecious diseases and knowledge about High Consequence Infectious Diseases are desirable.

Ward 3Y is a 19 bedded Tropical infectious diseases ward caring for patients with various infectious infections and medical conditions.

We have strong links with Ward 3X isolation unit the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, the departments of Genito-urinary medicine and Clinical Pharmacology.

Trust policy requires the cost of DBS applications be recovered via salary.The amount of £31(standard) or £49(enhanced) can be deducted from salary, in manageable monthly instalments for up to 3 months following commencement in post.
