As a Ward Manager, lead thenursing team to reach new heights and empower recovery across the service. You'll have previous experience as a Registered Nurse from the NHS or Private Care, and will be a part of an environment which encouragesteamwork.

You will be responsible for organising shifts, on-call rotas and managing the ward budgets. As aseniormemberof the nursing team, you will offer on-going guidance and training to ensure they have the necessary support system and skills.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Managing and training of junior and nurse staff.
  • Supporting the implementation of local Clinical Governance Strategy.
  • Actively contributing to the Nursing Service Agreement, departmental Risk Matrix and action plan and monitoring their implementation
  • Lead in organisational clinical and nursing audit programmes

To be successful in this role, you will:
  • RMN Qualification
  • CAMHS & Mental Health experience
  • Experience with working with children
  • Relevant sufficient post registration experience.

Join the team at Potters Bar Clinic providing care for young people and adults with acute mental health needs and personality disorders in an established 24-hour care environment. The CAMHS Tier 4 Low Secure services are for young people aged 13-18.

Potters Bar Clinic is located in a residential area, only one minute drive from the M25 and a short bus ride from Potters Bar Train Station - with a bus stop right outside, making it an easy commute for most.

The service operates 24/7. You will work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights. Standard shifts are 12 hours a day, working 3 days one week, 4 days the next.
