Are you looking for an interesting post that offers a change of direction in your career and the opportunity for you to develop skills in practice education?

An opportunity has arisen within the Practice Education Team and we are recruiting a Registered Nurse to join us with the specific focus of increasing our nursing placement capacity across the organisation.

This post is a new role and therefore an exciting opportunity to be creative and innovative in relation to how targets are met. To join us you will need good communication skills, knowledge of current practice education issues and experience of working with nursing students.

We work together as a team across all sites, covering practice placements and learner support for all Healthcare Professional Students within the organisation. The Practice Education Team also work with the Work Based Learning, International Nurses and Apprenticeship Teams, and the post holder will maintain close links with the Chief Nurse Team. Collaboration with HE's and external partners will also be a key feature of this role.

DBS Checks - All new employees starting work with us will be charged for the cost of their DBS check if it is required for the role. The cost will be deducted from your salary either in 1 payment or over a six month period once you start employment. The charges are currently £27.20 for a standard check and £44.20 for an enhanced check. The level of check will be determined by the post you are applying for. Please note that Volunteers and Bank only staff will not be charged.
