My name is Alfonso, I am privileged to lead our clinical and technical team of Pharmacists, Technicians, Assistants and Apprentices as we provide support services to our clinical trial research teams on all of our trust sites throughout Oxfordshire.

Do you have an interest in cutting edge research? Would you like to work in a large multi-disciplinary team?

We are looking for a pharmacist with excellent communication skills to support our friendly Clinical Trials Team in the set up and day to day running of clinical trials to cover the role of Specialist Clinical Trials Pharmacist for 1 year while the post holder is on secondment. The role is based across all sites and in a wide variety of clinical areas. You will be working with many different multi-disciplinary teams to bring research to patients.

The post will include some time in the aseptic unit developing and maintaining competency.

Clinical trial experience is not essential for this role, but would be desirable.

Applicants with hospital pharmacy or clinical trials experience, but not meeting the full person spec will be considered. We are happy to support pharmacists through the Clinical Diploma. If successful the applicant would be appointed at a lower band until the competencies for this post are achieved.
