    Personal qualities

The ideal candidate should have a real desire to achieve and is seeking a career, not a just a job.

At the Vindis Group, we are wildly passionate about being the best versions of ourselves daily and this comes with a level of resilience and self-awareness. We are ideally looking for a candidate who enjoys ‘applied learning'; by that we mean someone who wants to learn from ‘doing'. The university programme will be fully embedded into the role/projects and, as such, the ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and prioritise their tasks to work to a fast-paced and challenging workload. This will, however, be supported by a Mentor.

    Desired qualifications

You're expected to have at least 80 UCAS Tariff Points at A-level or NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), and Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above.

If you have relevant work experience but no traditional qualifications, we still encourage you to apply as all applications are considered on an individual basis.

    Future prospects

Although the Apprenticeship will be a Fixed Term Contract for the duration of the four year programme, the offer of a permanent position at the end of the programme is primarily down to the individual themselves. Work hard, be flexible, strive to be the best that you can be and the opportunities will be there.

To put this into context, we would like to share a couple of our team member's stories - and, honestly, there's loads more to share with the successful candidate - however, this should provide some comfort in regard to the Company's approach to developing people:

Victoria Stubbs - HR Director, Vindis Group

Victoria joined the Vindis Group Team at our Huntingdon Audi Centre as a Receptionist some 13 years ago and throughout this time has constantly re-invented herself and developed her knowledge through various roles to progress into the position she holds today.

Richard Hillier - Head of Business, Bedford Audi

Richard joined as an Apprentice Technician initially and worked his way to Aftersales Manager of Bedford Audi, before joining Head Office as Head of Aftersales. Richard was, in 2015, then successful in his role as Head of Business for Bedford Audi.

We are sure you will agree that both of these situations are fabulous achievements, and neither will mind us sharing that it took a lot of hard work to get here, however it should help to demonstrate the commitment that the Vindis Group has to supporting their team members to progress their careers. These are not isolated examples either; there are many more than can be shared.

    Things to consider

As one of approximately 900 team members, you will demonstrate the behaviours that the Vindis Group knows are integral to its continued success i.e. Passion, Openness, Transparency, Consultation, Engagement, Discipline, Energy, Positivity, Objectivity and Motivation.

Additionally, you will understand, and truly embrace, customer service excellence; and will apply this knowledge effectively and consistently - whether individually, or by supporting a team environment.

In return, you will be joining a long-established organisation that has continued to expand and evolve. At the heart of our company is a belief in Progressive Leadership and Valuing employees; and we provide a multitude of platforms and opportunities to support our team members in being the best versions of themselves. In particular, we offer three levels of Leadership Development Programmes, all of which are accredited by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI); a designated Training Centre, complete with comprehensive Internal Training Prospectus; and access to the Volkswagen Group UK's National Learning Centre.

Furthermore, all team members are provided with access to the ‘Vindis Lifestyle Benefits Scheme', which offers a host of significantly discounted options e.g. holidays, gym memberships, cinema tickets, supermarket vouchers etc.
