Outline of Role
The successful Business Trainee will have to learn quickly as, placed in our Call Centre, you’ll soon be selling luxury tailor-made holidays and learning the essence of tour operating at the coal face of the business.
Dependent upon your various modules and the needs of the business you will also undertake a series of placements in other sectors of the business.
You will also have the opportunity to apply for internal vacancies which could result in a permanent position on completion of your degree.
We're looking for applicants with the academic ability and potential to flourish in both the work place and at the University.
You will need self-discipline, motivation and commitment, and the desire and potential to go beyond what you've learned so far.
You will also need to show enthusiasm, thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. And of course an interest in working within the travel industry.
37.5 hours per week*
One day (7.5 hours) per week day release for study during term time.
*Some business placements may require shift working in which case hours may change for the duration of the placement.
£11,500 per annum Plus commission, incentives and bonus
(Potential to earn around £200 a month in commission) Salary review in November and opportunity to work overtime.
