Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Fix customers problems with stores or with the PlayerLands portal
  • Update store themes, add features, and track down bugs
  • Support development work on the PlayerLands platform
  • Use your knowledge as a gamer to suggest new features
  • Keep the shops and the portal that runs them in good working order

Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and PlayerLands.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Gaming Knowledge in PC Games / Minecraft would be beneficial but not essential
  • Some coding knowledge
  • Use of your own initiative


Personal qualities

  • Passion for Software development
  • Gaming Hobbyist


Desired qualifications

  • Grade 4/C GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English Language is required


Future prospects

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program. You, along with your employer, may decide to progress into a full-time position with the business or progress onto a Level 4 Apprenticeship.
