Remit are recruiting on behalf of The Studio 4 who are looking for a enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join their team.
The Studio 4 is a full service agency offering design, digital marketing and website development to a range of clients both nationally and internationally.
They are looking for a candidate who has a good understanding of front end web development who can take a design and implement it as HTML, CSS and Javascript code.
The Apprentices roles and responsibilities consists of but is not limited to:
The successful Apprentice, working with the title of Software Development Apprentice will assist a small close-knit development team that consists of Developers with varying skill-sets. As well as the chance to gain on the job working experience; the Apprentice will also be working towards a Level 3 Qualification in the IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals; alongside constant help and guidance which will be on hand throughout this programme.

They are looking for someone with experience in coding for wordpress that understands the way that wordpress works.
Personal qualities
Desired qualifications
You are required to have at least 5 GSCEs at grades A*-C/9-4 including English, maths and ICT (or the Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent).
Future prospects
As well as the chance to receive full on the job training throughout, by the end of the Apprenticeship you'll have gained nationally accredited qualifications as well as English & maths Functional Skills Level 2.
The Business are also offering a full, long term position of employment with them upon successful completion of the Level 3.

- Have the chance to work with various languages such as HTML and PHP - so if you have strong knowledge and the aptitude to learn quickly then this will be a bonus!
- Assist the senior team by helping them to build websites and work on general web development whilst supporting other team members if needed
- Learn and become comfortable in working with E-Bulletins and dealing with content management systems
- Aim to continuously improve development processes and best practices to use in-house
- Have the chance to expand current knowledge and experience using various Web Development tools
