The duties of the Associate PM will be:

Key Duties include:
  • Manage client projects and other work streams
  • Management accountability and delivery responsibility for client and internal projects, toagreed time, budget andquality standards
  • Help clients develop and agree project plans and other relevant documents (Project Initiation Documents etc)to achieve their project objectives
  • Engage clients to ensure action delivery
  • Input into Project Management methodology, change management and processdevelopment
  • Contribute to the coordination of project resourcing and activity management
  • Lead and manage specific research projects with minimal support
  • Manage third-party contractors, including Associate Consultants
  • Help with production of client deliverables (presentations etc)
  • Provide project overview reports weekly to communicate to all parties' upcoming and latetasks and milestone overview
  • Maintain standard project documentation such as RAID logs, project plans, communicationplans etc
  • Process project change requests and the project completion process
  • Ability to travel to the client site as required

General Duties include:
  • Assisting our Consultants for the successfulproject management of both client and internal projects
  • Have input into the continued development of processes and change management

Health Dynamics's Project Management apprenticeship is designed for individuals wishing to undertake a career as a project professional. Our apprentices support our consultancy team and support us across different functions including Marketing, Human Resources and IT, whilst helping deliver client focussed projects.

As an apprentice, you'll receive on-the-job experience along with formal training to gain the knowledge and skills you'll need to support our business. The qualification covers principles of project management, practice of project management, and leadership anddelegation. Successful apprentices can go on to permanent employment with us as a Project Manager or a Business Analyst.

Where are we based?

We are currently recruiting for vacancies at our site in Pulborough, West Sussex. During the COVID pandemic we have mostly been working remotely, however there is the occasional need to work in the office or on a client site. Relevant PPE will be provided where required. Regular onsite work with colleagues in the office will be required. We also have other locations in London and near Bordeaux in France.

We are looking for an apprentice who:
  • Have a genuine interest in project management
  • Can work as part of a team, so excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential, as are an ability to organise a varied workload
  • Contribute their ideas and think for themselves
  • Is up for a challenge, can use their own initiative to solve problems, and can demonstrate good attention to detail
  • Have good time andtask management skills
  • Must have good computer skills
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK

Desired qualifications

  • Have a GCSE at Level 4 or above or equivalent in English Language
  • Have a GCSE at Level 4 or above or equivalent Maths
  • Have or are predicted, a minimum of two A Levels, or a BTEC, or Level 3 Apprenticeship, or equivalent experience

Future prospects

After successful completion of the apprenticeship, candidates can go on to permanent employment with us as a Project Manager or a Business Analyst. During the apprenticeship, you will be employed through a Fixed Term Contract.

Things to consider

The successful candidate will need to have a driving licence and use of a vehicle. Our office is based in a rural location and occasional travel to our client sites may be required.

Successful appointment to the role will be subject to a basic DBS and reference checks.
