What will the apprentice be doing?

As a part of our Launch Pad programme, you will experience rotations around a range of departments so will gain valuable work experience within our Business Services, Audit and Tax teams. You'll get to work with SMEs, family-owned businesses, large corporates, and not-for-profit organisations across a wide range of sectors - as your experience grows so will the level of responsibility that you have.

Day to day tasks will include:
  • Auditing of various businesses, including Corporates, Not-for-Profits, Charities and Academy Schools
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Processing of personal tax returns
  • Preparation of Corporate Tax computations and VAT returns
  • Assisting with advisory projects

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Recognised as an ICAEW Partner in Learning, you will study for the ACA qualification as part of a Level 7 Apprenticeship, enabling you to become a chartered accountant within five years. You will be supported to complete a wide range of professional and personal development throughout your apprenticeship, both remotely and face to face, to ensure that you have skills and knowledge that you need to aid your future career development.
