The Research, Development and Innovation (R,D&I) department tackles complex business challenges, delivering high quality research and development which is under-pinned by engineering and scientific excellence.

The outputs and outcomes fromR,D&I include enhanced insight into their asset base and operations that enable improvement in asset performance and reduce risk, and a range of innovative technical solutions that enable the business to achieve customer outcomes more efficiently and with improved resilience, these include:
  • Process modelling of various water and waste treatmentprocesses
  • Supporting process operatingequipment
  • Dataanalysis
  • Development of solutions and technology

Desired qualifications

  • 5 GCSE's or equivalents at grade C or 4, including mathematics and English
  • 3 A Levels or equivalents at grade C or above to include Chemistry and mathematics or 90+ credits in an Applied Science level 3 BTEC
  • Equivalent qualifications to include those who have completed their qualifications outside England will also be considered

Please note that if you already have a scientific degree you will not be eligible for this apprenticeship.
