European Operations Apprentice

18 month professional qualification
You need to be interested in a career in the logistics sector. This is a professional qualification which runs for 18 months, as well as receiving a BIFA qualification as part of the course.
Main purpose of role
Providing a valuable service in our Operations department, assisting to organise the safe, efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Operational responsibilities
Throughout the term of the Apprenticeship to learn and then complete
Assist the department to deliver services efficiently and effectively
Learn and operate our in-house Azyra system
Booking in jobs into the Azyra System efficiently in-line with company workflow charts
Full understanding of our ISO/AEO systems
Any duties/tasks as requested by your Line Manager or a DirectorApprenticeship responsibilities
Complete all assigned Apprenticeship work on time, in full and to the best of your ability
Allocate time outside of work to complete assigned Apprenticeship coursework
Attend training and assessment sessions where assigned
Keep all Apprenticeship work up to date and tidy
Keep your Line Manager, Mentor and assigned Assessor up to date with your Apprenticeship tasks and assignments.
Full training will be given in all areas of European Operational dutiesPersonal Specification
Qualifications - Recognised pass rate for GCSE in Maths and English
Experience - Previous office work
Knowledge/Skills
Computer and Word / Excel literate
Good organisation and ability to work to deadline is essential
Ability to work in a methodical manner
Ability to work as part of a busy team
Ability to work on own initiativePersonal Qualities
Team player
Clear and confident communicator
Accurate with high attention to details
