What will the apprentice be doing?
As a building services manager you will work closely with the site project team to ensure that all aspects of the building services are designed, managed and installed correctly. You will manage the different aspects of the mechanical and electrical systems that are required to ensure the building is fully operational, including managing the installation, test and commissioning processes to ensure the building is delivered to the relevant standards, guidelines and specifications.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will start your programme with ISG completing a year on site shadowing and learning what a Building Service Manager does. In years two and three you will complete several core rotations within the business. These will cover areas such as pre-construction, winning work,Construction management and Commercial management. These rotations will help you to build a wider understanding of the construction industry as well as how your preferred specialism fits into the work we do.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once you have completed your apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to progress onto the level 6 Apprenticeship and further your career at ISG
