  • To support and assist in the delivery of the Policy & Research work programme
  • Ensure you have awareness and understanding of new legislation, regional policy and best practice and can effectively communicate this to a range of Stakeholders
  • To produce written work, reports and summaries to a high standard suitable for dissemination to customers as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist the Head of Policy and Research in the production of briefings, articles, presentations, workshops, consultation responses and reports
  • To support and, where required, mange discreet research projects through the management of internal and external resources in line with agreed scopes and to agreed timescales
  • To work collaboratively with other departments/divisions across THT and the wider group including supporting individual project teams and participating in/ leading workshops as required
  • To maintain appropriate relationships with relevant organisations and stakeholders and effectively represent the organisation internally and externally
  • To liaise with and positively input to conversations a range of internal staff and external stakeholders including customers, local authorities, academic institutions, research organisations, think tanks and other housing associations
  • To work with THT and the wider group to identify and undertake research projects that will support business development
  • Other reasonable duties in line with the needs of the Trust


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Demonstrable skill or experience in undertaking research projects, market research or detailed data analysis
  • Demonstrable skill or experience in producing high quality written and verbal reports
  • Able to demonstrate collaborative approach to working with others
  • Able to demonstrate strong organisational, time management and planning skills including task prioritisation and keeping to deadlines
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely
  • IT literate including MS Office applications and video conferencing applications (Zoom, Teams etc.)

  • A willingness to learn and get involved with new things
  • Commit to learning and succeeding in their studies and their role


Desired qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in any subject
