YH is a not-for-profit provider of community health and social care services in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and Learning Disability services in London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. We employ circa 700 staff based across a number of Your Healthcare, local authority and NHS owned sites.

As a Facilities & Contracts Officer you will thrive in a busy ever-changing environment, managing multiple priorities on the go, you will need to be flexible and organised with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, exercise influence, and to work as part of a team with a 'can do' attitude. You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important to this role.
  • you should have a good understanding of contracting and procurement, including finance/budget management, lease agreements,
  • Work with the FM team to scope and agree contracts and Service Level agreements (SLA's)
  • Develop, co-ordinate and deliver cost effective contract work plans
  • Provide advice to managers and budget holders on procurement policies and procedures in relation to specified contracts and SLA's
  • Monitor and analyse contracts and SLA's ensuring compliance with Contract specifications, legislation and national and NHS guidance, managing payments inbound and outbound.

In particular the post holder will:
  • Provide day to day facilities support for all sites to ensure the provision of a safe and appropriate working environment. Thorough knowledge of H&S legislation
  • Act as a key contact for responding to any issues arising. Use your initiative and creativity to enable, promote, and support effective use of our sites.
  • Support the completion of refurbishment projects and effectively monitor use of accommodation
  • Contribute to and support the development of the team, effectively promoting the role of Front of House.
  • Co-ordinate our Travel Plan
  • May avail of our apprenticeship programme
