Business Information, Data & Commercial Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust's Education, Learning & Development team. We are looking for a Finance/Commercial Manager to lead our Business information and commercial team.

We are a team of about 100 colleagues who are very committed to delivering a high quality compassionate and inclusive service to the Trust and the System. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a wide breadth of accounting and commercial experience and will show strong communication skills, including the ability to analyse, understand and communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues. The role will require effective working with a range of internal and external stakeholders including our regulators, auditors and partners, whilst playing a role in supporting the transformation of our Educational & training activities across the Trust and wider health system.

Your key responsibilities will include the production and development of the department's monthly Business information data and budgets, The liaison with Trust Finance team and Health Education finance team. Data analysis to support Workforce planning. You would also be overseeing all commercial activities (Procurement of Education and training, Apprenticeship contracts, Income generation and Management of forecasts and review of financial controls, and providing a high standard of financial support to the senior management team. You will manage a team of two and report to the Deputy Director of Education, Inclusion and Leadership.
