CSP Recruitment are offering an exciting opportunity for experienced Apprenticeship Assessors/Trainers to join our growing organisation within our Training Division.
We are looking for Assessors/Trainers who can deliver the required courses (primarily the delivery of NVQ level's 2/3) to our clients and their staff throughout the UK.
Your location is not important if you are fully flexible with travelling to/from client sites and working hours.
These are permanent positions with a salary expectation of up to GBP32,000 (DoE) with fully expensed car.
Main Purpose of the Apprenticeship Assessor/Trainer will be:
* To plan, prepare and teach courses for learners within the CSP programme of work, as agreed with senior management.
* To provide appropriate learner feedback and support.
* To provide educational advice and information where necessary, and to create an appropriate and welcoming atmosphere for learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan deliver and report on your course, using methods and materials appropriate to the learner group and course content. A Scheme of work/syllabus and lesson plans should be used for this and made available.
* Prepare/adapt appropriate teaching materials.
* Identify/assess the needs of learners and if necessary, adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs.
* Comply with the CSP policies on Equality and Diversity and Prevent so that all learners are treated with respect and dignity in an environment in which a diversity of backgrounds and experience is valued. Deal with any harassment or discrimination issues that arise.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of learning. Assess learners' work where appropriate. Keep records of learner's progress and ensure learners are given feedback on their progress within regular reviews.
* Ensure that all required paperwork, including learning outcomes forms, course registers and reviews are completed and communicated to the relevant office, in a timely manner.
For the Apprenticeship Assessor/Trainer, we would be looking for someone who is able to:
* Have full flexibility on working hours & location.
* Participate in team meetings, events and training as necessary.
* Work in accordance with CSP's policies, particularly in relation to equality and diversity, bullying and harassment, health and safety, child protection and Prevent.
* Have the Level of CRB/DBS needed (enhanced)
Experience/background:
* Training experience in a government funded environment would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of apprenticeship programmes and how delivery models apply.
* MUST have a minimum of 2 years of Training/Assessing within Manufacturing, Food Production, Automotive, Engineering, Modular build industries
* Be familiar with the occupation(s) covered by the qualification.
* Have knowledge and understanding of the qualification structure and content.
* Advanced user of Microsoft packages.
Skills and Abilities:
* Be able to work in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment.
* The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues.
* The ability to work to deadlines in a pressurised and sensitive area of work, being aware of CSP's confidentiality and information sharing protocols.
* The ability to apply the principles of CSP's safeguarding, Prevent and equality and diversity agendas.
* The ability to be highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
* Be emotionally resilient and be able to work in a challenging environment
