HR Apprentice Administrator
Portsmouth
GBP13K per annum
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our clients busy HR team. As the HR Apprentice Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administration support to the various human resource function, which include recruitment, absence management, training and development, performance monitoring and employee engagement. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in HR or administration in a progressive environment that will offer excellent development opportunities and exposure to a first-class organisation. Time will be allowed to complete a relevant apprenticeship and/or qualification.
Duties include:
Provide assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
Ensure HR systems are accurate and promptly updated and compile reports
Maintain employee files and records, assures completeness of files.
Maintain sickness and absence system
Ensure that accurate job descriptions are in place and kept up to date
Assist in the administration for metrics and KPI's.
Manage employee benefits schemes
Complete file audits
Organise HR staff training sessions, workshops and activities
Managing the new employee on-boarding process administration
Monitor and report on sickness absence, ensuring all relevant documentation is maintained. Arranging OH, and ensuring reports are submitted to assist in the management of return to work.
Performing the end-to-end recruitment process administration: liaising with the hiring manager; ensuring head count allows for the hire; assisting with managing the advertising process and liaising with recruitment agencies and universities; setting up interviews as and when required and producing the offer and confirming start dates
