What will the apprentice be doing?
Responsibilities will vary dependent on each rotation and will increase and evolve as you progress through the programme. They may include:
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Throughout the six years you will be working for four days per week and spend one day studying with The University of Law. Tuition will be through a mixture of virtual webinars and on-campus seminars (when government guidelines permit). By the end of the 6 year programme you will have gained a law degree (LLB) and completed both Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE).
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
By the end of your apprenticeship, subject to satisfactory character and suitability, you will be a fully qualified solicitor and registered with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA). You will then be invited to apply and interview for a permanent Associate Solicitor role at Mishcon de Reya in your preferred practice area.

Things to consider
We are looking for candidates who are driven, motivated and can demonstrate a passion to pursue a career in law.
Responsibilities will vary dependent on each rotation and will increase and evolve as you progress through the programme. They may include:
- Assisting lawyers with cases with close supervision
- Communication with clients and attending client meetings
- Drafting correspondence and reports
- Answering phones and preparing files
- Drafting invoices
- Attending training sessions, both departmental and those put on by our in-house Academy.
