What will the apprentice be doing?
You will work within a team of engineers to design various installations found in buildings which typically include systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, drainage, lighting, power, controls and lifts, to deliver buildings which meet the needs of the people that use them. In addition you will have the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of our Whole Life offering.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
At the end of your apprenticeship you will have achieved a BEng (Hons) degree in Building Services Engineering and have achieved LCIBSE IEng professional status.
You will attend London Southbank University one day per week to study for your degree. This is currently be delivered remotely.
On completion of your degree (5.5 years) you will sit your End Point Assessment (EPA) with CIBSE.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The career and development opportunities available are endless and all can take their career as far as they want at Troup Bywaters + Anders. We see our apprentices as the future leaders of our business.
The ultimate aim for all of our apprentices is to work towards and achieve Chartered Engineer status.
