What will the apprentice be doing?

During your Apprenticeship at WSP you will have the opportunity to work as part of our Environmental discipline helping our clients identify risks, reduce their impact on the environment and, where possible, make positive contributions to the environment. Working across our Environmental sector you could work alongside our teams in: Acoustics, Contaminated land, Ecology, Air Quality, Landscape. Archaeology, Environmental Impact and Planning and Environmental Health, Safety and Compliance

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will attend Kingston University to study an Environmental Practitioner degree apprenticeship and gain a Bachelor's Degree. You will also be enrolled onto a bespoke internal development scheme to support you to attain the knowledge, skills and behaviour to achieve your apprenticeship.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

As this is a permanent position, after gaining your degree, WSP will continue to be committed to your learning and development throughout your career with us. You will have the opportunity to get Chartered status, as well as the chance to study towards a Masters.
