**14 month Fixed Term Contract - Apprenticeship **

We welcome applications from individuals wishing to become an Apprentice and gain experience in the NHS. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience and a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

You will be enrolled with a local education provider and will be required to complete your Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Programme within the duration of the placement.

TeamNNUH's Respiratory ward, Hethel, have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join as Apprentice Administrator.

Hethel Ward are looking to expand our existing team by recruiting an apprentice administrator to work alongside our busy administration team. By joining this team you will be working in a supportive yet fast paced environment where the team cover all the functions of the role including dealing with telephone enquiries, organising patient's notes and ensuring the smooth running of all things admin throughout the ward.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual to join our dynamic ward team. If you take an organised approach, have an interest and perhaps some experience within an admin based role and are motivated to progress, we want to hear from you!

Eligibility Criteria:

All applicants must be:
  • Aged 16+
  • Resident in the UK/EEA for the last three years
  • Must not have a qualification at the equivalent or above level in a similar subject (there needs to be significant new learning)
  • Must NOT be in any form of formal government-funded education

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Good general standard of education
  • 4 GCSE's at Grade D/3 or above (or equivalent)
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills

Full time: 37.5 hours per week
