Potential Rotations:

The Accounts Payable role is the gate keeper of our disbursements, goods and services received data. The role will support the team in timely and accurately recording the company's expenditures whether it be supplier, tax or expenses and to ensure that payments are made in accordance to terms, precise and in an efficient manner consistent with the overall delegation of authority and segregation of duties guidelines and regulations.

The Business Partner role is about embedding financial metrics, control and insights within a highly dynamic business environment. The role will provide the opportunity to produce trend and scenario analysis creating value both to a Starbucks and a License profit and loss accounts. At the same time, you will be able to explore the macroeconomic environment and understand a potential impact to Starbucks's finance position.

The Collections role is to collect the debt of existing customers and finding resolution of account queries and managing debt recovery for the Starbucks EMEA businesses while also maintaining customer account reconciliations.

The Equity role revolves around Starbucks flagship roastery site situated in Milan, Italy. Here unlike our usual core Starbucks presence, we have a premium café and food offering plus a manufacture facility and merchandise area. This role will provide support to this team to enable delivery of regular and ad-hoc insightful reporting as well as a robust forecast and identification of opportunities to deliver financial performance.

The Financial Accounting and Financial Accounting Siren role work as part of the Financial Accounting Team to assist monthly, quarterly and annual management and financial accounts on a timely and accurate basis in compliance with relevant legal, accounting and tax regulations. Works closely with the local, EMEA & US accounting/finance teams, as well as key stakeholders in varying Starbucks business units.

The FP&A function are the custodians of our regional financial results, financial plans and our business transformation project. The role will support the team in delivering their regional reporting deliverables with accuracy and in timely manner to management of EMEA and the US parent company. This will include understanding variances to plan will commercial insight.

The General Administration (G&A) and Expense management role supports various stakeholders across the business with their department's expense management. The role provides an insight into the various cost types across the business, with opportunity to ensure efficient use of funds. Tight cost management and visibility is essential as we grow the business and this role will play an important role in supporting this.

Desired qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs, including maths and English at A-C/8-4 or equivalent essential
  • 2 A-Levels or a full L3 qualifcation
  • AAT L3 equal or experience in finance or accountancy is desirable


Future prospects

On successful completion of this apprenticeship the candidate will select the team in which they feel their skills are best suited to. There may also be an opportunity to progress onto the Level 7 Accountancy Apprenticeship.
