What will the apprentice be doing?
You will join one of our multi-discipline asset engineering teams which include Instrumentation, Electrical/Control and Mechanical disciplines, working to ensure our manufacturing plants operate safely and reliably or executing the improvements and new-build projects that underpin our continued business success.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
On completion of this Apprenticeship, you will recieve the Level 6 University award: BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering.
You study part-time on a day release basis, however your programme includes elements delivered using distance learning, blended learning and block-mode teaching methodologies. All programmes include work-based elements. Study will commence in September 2021.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified Mechanical Engineer playing a vital role in the safe running of the site, implementing continuous improvements and helping to lead on new-build projects.
