What will the apprentice be doing?
As part of a dynamic team you will support the bespoke care package delivered to the children and young people accommodated in the residential home. Supporting children and young people in the daily lives with independence tasks, transport, personal care, domestic duties, and activities. You will need to be both resilient, creative and adaptable.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be supported to gain a Level 4 Children, Young People and Family's Practitioner for residential childcare qualification.
As part of your working rota, training will be provided with time allocated to complete assignments on site. Hernebay/Folkestone
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Career progression within this setting can be very diverse with students successfully continuing into senior, management and other specialist roles within the care sector.

Communication skills, IT skills, Team working, Creative, Patience, Physical fitness, Knowledge of LD and/or ASD
Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent English and Maths (Grade 1-9) Desired
Things to consider
This is a residential position and therefore you will be required to perform sleep in duties, work some weekends, evenings, early mornings and bank holidays. This position involves supporting children and young people who may exhibit behaviours that challenge.
