What will the apprentice be doing?

Regardless of which project you are working on, you'll learn how to:

plan what work needs to be done, when and who's going to do

manage risk

make sure the work is done to the right standard

motivate the team of people involved in the project

co-ordinate work done by people with different skills and backgrounds

ensure the project is running on time and to budget

manage changes to the project

make sure the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The apprenticeship takes between 18 - 24 months to complete and during this time you'll achieve the skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary to work effectively as a project manager.

You'll also achieve a nationally recognised project management qualification and be eligible for associate membership of the Association of Project Management.

Full membership can then be attained through further experience and professional development
