About the apprenticeship
Duties
Duties will include performing on site installation and maintenance of electrical systems in properties commercial, industrial and residential, from basic rewires and installations of components such as lights, etc, to eventual diagnostics and fault finding. Other labouring duties also to be carried as required when on site, e.g. maintaining a clean and tidy work area in line with health & safety working practices.
Additional information
Before applying for this position please ensure you are able to travel to and from the place of employment in Swansea and to the XR Training Centre in Pyle once a week. You will be employed full-time as an Apprentice Electrical Engineer by this company based in Swansea. You will be enrolled onto a level 2 foundation apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, and undertake the following qualifications:
- NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance & Installation
- VRQ Diploma in Electrical Installation
- Essential Skills in Application of Number, Communication and Digital Literacy level 1
