Pay Rates: Days: FULL TIME 37.5 hours - MONDAY-FRIDAY 9AM-5PM

We have long term placement opportunities available for a Band 7 - Specialist CAMHS Psychologist x2 - available at South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Information and Requirements

Band 7 - Specialist CAMHS Psychologist

- Skilled in carrying out specialist assessment, cognitive assessments, offering CBT treatment for a range of mental health difficulties and managing risk in children with autism

- Running specialist emotional regulation groups and managing challenging behaviour interventions with families, social services and schools

- Experience in CAMHS desirable

Band 8a - Additionally to above Band 7, essential they have CAMHS experience and ideally in NDT

Person Specification: Desirable

- To have previous experience of working in a CAMHS NDT Team

- To have recognised qualification in established ASD assessment tools (e.g. ADOS)

- All applicants will require professional registration with a statutory body: the Nursing Midwifery Council, General Social care council, Health professional's council, Chartered Clinical Psychologists by BPS, ACP or UKCP
