The Department of Professional Healthcare Education are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Placement Development Team consisting of dedicated staff committed to leading the way through innovation to support learners in practice.

Have you thought about a career in Education? If so, we are looking for passionate and experienced registrants to join the Team.

This post will work collaboratively with clinical teams to develop learning environments and provide support to learners for quality and varied placement experiences. Preparation of supervisors / assessors in practice is a key element of this role as well as to work alongside pre-registration nursing students, nursing associate and degree nurse apprentices within practice.

The placement development team have been developing placement models such as hub and spoke to follow the patient journey and Collaborative Learning in Practice placements (CLiPP) to maximise learner capacity within UHP and to ensure that learners have a variation of opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills whilst working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
