What will the apprentice be doing?

The post holder will be involved in all aspects of clinical Neurophysiology, including Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Sleep studies including Polysomnography (PSG) and Multiple Sleep Latency Testing (MLST).

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

To undertake a degree apprenticeship in Healthcare Science level 6, specialising in Neurophysiology which is delivered at Bristol University for which you will need to travel, and attaining the ANS part 1 professional examination. The degree is funded and the successful candidate will be given a fixed amount for travel and subsistence.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This position is a full time 3 year 6 month fixed term contract, with a substantive post available following successful completion of the degree apprenticeship in Healthcare Science level 6
