Drive the growth of our business
One of the ways we win customers, here at Virgin Media Business, is by putting together successful bids and proposals. This takes real expertise, especially for larger, more complex bids. How can we best meet customers’ needs? What is the true value of the services we’re providing? What is a competitive price? As a Bid & Proposal Co-ordinator Apprentice, you’ll learn how to find answers to all these questions and more.
Build skills for the future
In your role, you’ll rotate between commercial deals and bid management, giving you broad exposure to the team’s work. By the end of the scheme, you’ll be able to:
- Coordinate tender responses
- Assess the pricing and profitability of bids
- Undertake competitor analysis and understand key market trends
- Create additional value throughout the lifetime of the customer relationship
What we look for
The job involves coordinating colleagues at various levels of the business, so you’ll need to be comfortable communicating with all kinds of people and guiding them towards a common goal.
