We are looking for an enthusiastic junior ASP.Net web developer to join a team of over 12 coders, reporting to the Head of the Web Development and the MD. The developer will have website development experience but not necessarily commercial experience. You will ideally have examples of websites you have produced.

Job Duties:
  • Building database-driven websites and web applications in ASP.Net using C# and web forms. No graphic design experience is required, but you will be provided with designs in Adobe Illustrator format and be expected to develop a website which matches the design perfectly, so a keen eye for detail is important
  • Produce Content Management Systems for every website built, however there is an in-house system which you will be expected to integrate with
  • Research, develop & test software code
  • Write working code for a simple software component
  • Using a range of communication methods to explain the function of software
  • Apply tools and techniques to solve programming problems
  • Develop a new website/portal for the business to use internally
  • Code in different languages
  • Maintain and test software systems
  • Writing code for different programs with a team
  • App design and development


Requirements and prospects

  • HTML
  • CSS (+ Preprocessors)
  • Javascript
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD)
  • Sage Pay
  • Using MS SQL Server
  • Wordpress
  • Experience with Bootstrap framework is essential
  • Experience with Wordpress CMS is desirable
  • Experience with Laravel platform is also desirable
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms is an advantage
